I T S O V E R

lang arts: hopeful for this, expecting 75+ at least

core math: first paper was rather bad. but even though almost everyone found paper 2 hard i found it relatively okay.

physics: crazy. i believe i had a lack of sleep the night before. i still remember calculating that John could have used an iron for 25 minutes a week for a month and ended up paying $4000+ for that. haha but its over anyway.

biology: i feel like slapping the setter. so many 'rubbish' questions that we wouldn't need to have studied for. like, slapping us with a diagram and then asking questions about it without referring to anything in the textbook. and as usual i overwrote for every question. if boontiam is the marker i am DEAD just like term 1 and 2 where he killed my papers.

chemistry: the paper was fine. after all, i believe i put the most effort into studying it :)

amath: the first paper was apparently rather easy but i didnt find it that way. and the second paper was just dumb cause we were supposed to use the GDC to plot a graph and i barely knew how to use it :( anyway throughout my entire school life i find that i ace tough exams and do mediocre-ly for normal ones. and i find papers that are easy to other people hard. it works the other way around as well. go figure.

aaaaaaand i have just come back from bowling lunch and a movie. the cronies today were duane walter ian reuben leo kevin henry and mukhil. unfortunately laser quest happened to be all booked out so we had to go bowling.

actually bowling was kinda fun. i scored rather badly in the first game cuz i hadn't played for ages but the second game was sooo much better. but it was also because the others were trying to pull off spins that almost always guttered =P while i always played it safe.

lunch at bk then we went to the arcade to watch walter vs leo and reuben vs ian in the daytona racing game while waiting for the movie to start. soon enough...

Eagle Eye.

I found it wayyyy much better than the other thrillers like Watched and Death Race. The plot was so much more intrrricate and complex. I was numbed for at least half of the movie. actually maybe it was the cold that caused it. i was trying desperately to get the blood to circulate in my hands and legs :X

***** SPOILERS *****

Plot: 8/10 i liked the ways things unfolded. and, how they eventually made sense. but the ending was kinda silly, the fellow should've died in the end. then i'd have given it 8.5/10 instead. i don't know why, things just felt incomplete when i saw the guy alive when everyone thought he'd died.

Action: 9/10 adrenaline/hype poured thru me most of the time especially during the car chases. then again, it might've been the cold. but then again the action in the movie was really really intense.

Soundtrack: 7.5/10 okay but could have been better. not that it was bad, but it was only slightly above average, but really fitting some scenes.

Overall: 8.5/10 this is what a thriller should be like...still, things can always be improved. at times it does feel like a little of a copy off other thriller films though.

AND...*some date in Sept* the very first time i ever play in a concert. not too shabby and not too lush either. despite my piece being noobish and maybe outshined by so many others -_- its a start.

tentatively: soccer at the cage on friday with the same people today.

At last we have undoubtedly reached the best time of the year... only applying to IP-ers. i heard the express fellows had a messy time with the bio fish practical with nick making the fish rot by pouring sucrose solution into it :P

one thing i envy about the express-ers is that they get to write compos. before i joined ip i supposed there would be loads of this write-your-own story stuff but after getting it its all based on written texts already ._. when i'd much rather write my own stories. the distinction for nsw writing compy proves it (no brag) =]

and tomorrow is a long beautiful free day. perfect for arpeggios and the new romantic piece i am to learn.

all the best express :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
