last night i had the most terrible shock of my whole life. thru artificial means. nick sent me a link supposedly showing off some optical illusions. so the first pic was white dots with black lines. supposed to blur out your eyes and it did exactly that. to get to the next pic you had to click next. next pics were of some "how many faces can you see in the picture" illusions. eventually it came to a pic where it was rather hard to see anything. i was staring into the screen, trying to find a face. and then this pic of some freak suddenly jumped out and screamed like crazy.

i shouted. no, i went "RAAAAAAAAAAAWRRR" as my specs flew off. so did my earphones...and broke on the floor for the second time. i was still recovering from the shock when my dad came in. and it was 1+ at that time. gosh. those things should be banned. detrimental to people with weak hearts who do not frequent horrormovies...it was horrible. i barely saw the face but the scream nearly killed me. didn't help that i was wearing earphones. i couldn't sleep for an hour or so after that. had to read some euro 08 mag before my body began to shut down. with the lights still on of course.

Anyway. 2nd last week of school:) expectedly, a number of people ponned today. tomorrow will probably see more people falling sick since its the Ford factory outing. i was told everything about it is boring...except the bus ride back and forth -.- no choice tho. though i would dearly love to have the day off and spend the morning practising piano.

just got this from kinokuniya a day ago =], albeit with a different cover. the latest in my fav mystery series. also saw some bestsellers but not willing to dish out the cash if i can get it from the library. "the time traveller's wife" looks pretty interesting. i might see if i can get it from the library sooner or later.

aaaaaaaaaah i never get tired of listening to debussy's 1st arabesque. it's so lovely, like fluid, flowing water. it pains me to think i am so far off from such finesse :(

Arabesque No.1 - Debussy

i am feeling ridiculously sleepy now. it has to be from the lack of sleep last night, and my mind going overwrought over that shock. its going to be a nice quiet night of piano, dota and makeup for yesterday's lack of sleep.

things seem so peaceful now in class. everyone's bringing lappys and so on to play/watch movies. and i have my lovely book to read.

end of exams. utopia.
