Oh joy, oh bliss.

I didn't mess up eoy after all.

Lang Arts - 72%
CLB - 70%
IHS - 80%
Chem - 78%
Bio - 75%
Physics - 71%
Core Math - 80%
Add Math - 81%

POD - 83% <--- bs subject
ISO - 93%

YES. champion last-minuter has proved it's still possible.

and this was totally unexpected. i expected to ace lang arts and chem but ended up with 6 points instead for both :( i'm grateful for 6 points for bio- the marker this year hates my style of answering with a passion.

IHS was rather expected :X altho i was hoping for a higher mark. i just loooove killer papers like the one for IHS - even tho pretty much everyone ended up doing rather well for it.

physics was silly. oh yes, the part where John used an iron for 45 mins a week. they gave the $.kWh and i had to calculate how much John has to pay for using it for 1 month. if i'm not wrong, asad got $1.60. Reuben got $16.00. and i got more than $5000....that was bad. and i kept staring at the answer during the exam, knowing i was wrong but my brain was so blurred i could barely think anyway.

core maths and amaths were the most shocking of all. i expected to 60-something both of them. imagine the shock of seeing 80s over the papers. shock and awe that i still can't forget.

topsy turvy would be the only way to describe my results. and thank you walter for doing 90% of iso and choo for the essay to wholesale the other day.

in the end - 42/45 points. YESSS. strong encouragement for next year. AND i will be able to take any HL i want to. they will be chem, maths and of course bio. SLs - english, chinese :( and one undecided one.

apparently the Cage is booked for tomorrow. but tonight all i'm looking for is some quiet time at the piano and maybe a game or two. then rest to recover from the euphoria.

and i have finished The Broken Window by jeffrey deaver. IT happened to be a major aspect in the book. Data mining. i'll bet aaron would be interested :P but i can't help but say the book is mediocre compared to deaver's others. best would still be The Empty Chair. definitely one of the best i've ever read.

and now i need to get more books from the library.

things seem to be getting more thrilling each day.
