a good night's sleep makes all the difference :)

scouts camp at pulau ubin was fun, but tiring. haha thank goodness the original plan failed and only WE had to wake up at 430am for that hike. got kh as my partner -.- he was like just stoning the entire briefing looking as if he was caught between sleep and awakeness. vikram gave us the shortest route because he had kh as his companion during his own hike and foresaw consequences...which turned out to be true anyway.

carrying the food to the campsite from the jetty was horrible. packets of spaghetti, glass bottles of prego sauce, eggs, tomatoes, bacon, bread, cheese, sauces. crazy viet anh haha. but he made up by preparing meals that were really worth it :)

haha i still remember the time i was in the taxi with juno, when he got a call from shim. "juno, could you please tell vikram we're going to be late" "huh why" "our bus...crashed" and i started laughing uncontrollably. "juno, can you tell stewart to stop laughing. its not funny" but juno started laughing too anyway. good thing though, no one got hurt. although that wasn't what david told everyone :P

but that crash delayed everything. oh nuts, yaseer was in that bus too. now i think i know why it crashed :D hahahaha. everyone arrived at the campsite at around 9+ and the whole schedule was delayed. and the campfire script. so fail haha. everyone was just too tired to be enthusiastic.

steaming marshmallows over the bubbling spaghetti. that was fun :) and the real roasting marshmallows over the campfire. it was quite yummy. then we talked to about 2+ before i got annoyed at yaseer's voice and told him to hush. but of course, he went on and on and eventually everyone fell asleep.

until we were woken up later, and i thought it was already 7+ and time to get up till i heard shim's voice turning ugly. which, is spectacularly rare. and so i checked my watch: 430am. gah. and so the hike with kh began.

the end to the camp was rather unfortunate though.

and, 10 mosquito bites- but i still think that's an improvement from the previous 80+ ones. ahem.
