went to the dentist, who is actually my auntie. she said something like two more months before she puts in a new wire that would finally close those gaping holes in my upper and lower front teeth.

and of course, her cheek came in as usual when it was time to change those coloured things on my teeth. last time it was blue and yellow, for ACS colours. after that it was turqoise and bright orange- her claim: "we are all gay around here". this time, i saw her forceps holding an bright orange coloured piece, and so i went:

"hey! did i just see ORANGE?!?"
"ahh no la, it's purple. you really colourblind."

and so now i have turquoise and orange again, this time with a bit of silver in between.

chinese. i don't seem to be making progress. and we have to write on the most boring things. Dumpling making. what on earth? IB is really running out of ideas. it seems as if each passage is something to do with the history/culture of food/a place. nothing interesting to write on. and the format is really...i don't know what to say already. to think they actually accept 小明路...maybe i should replace 小明 with my own name in the exam and see what they think. creativity marks maybe?

gah, and the chinese characters just DON'T seem to stick in my head at all. went through a list of phrases and their meanings in class- and i seem to forget what they mean the instant i move on to another one. was actually unknowingly copying down multiple phrases that were exactly the same. what am i to do? maybe blame tj, he kept highlighting the same phrases over and over again...heh.

nah, i guess i just have to keep memorising. still can't forget the time gtg pointed at the chinese dictionary on my desk and went, "isn't that for primary school?". and now two former higher chinese people are having the time of their life laughing away at me. and soon, fame and glory will be mine for being the first ever person to score a grade 4 in chinese b.

uggh. that's quite sad, actually. oh well, at least i finished siddharta.

and govinda looked into siddhartha's face and saw a thousand things-

a boy, fast asleep at his desk;
a girl, sick with low blood pressure;
a boy, madly ecstatic with his library book's return;
two girls, plotting world domination;
a kid, furiously clicking on multiple plants in a screen;
a girl, slowly plucking leaves off a stalk;
a girl, offering rice balls to her brother.

and govinda became very sad and started emoing.
