bio ee = mess. the bunsen burner thing was really quite funny- marcus shocked face when i stuck my hand into the flame to pass him the turmeric juice- and ian's yelling after that. and all i was thinking that, 'wow, my hand's hot. oh WAIT WHAT-' and paul cheong starts freaking out. hahaha, said something like he doesn't want to read my eulogy and stuff. he actually got ice and spammed loads of antiseptic cream on my fingers even though i didnt see any burns. although it did smell burnt. haha he's so nice la. dean of bio ftw! actually all bio teachers are pretty great people, i just realized. mm, including their fabulous lab tech of course.
some things still bug me a lot.
anyway. was thinking about the songs i'm listening to. 'art is a lie that helps us get nearer to the truth'. well, music would be a fine thing to look at, taking a look at my latest playlist. actually titled "eetokweek:D".
Clocks by coldplay. got it recently, haven't listened to the lyrics yet, but the melody's quite nice hehe.
kiss the rain by yiruma. listened to this long time ago on utoob but just got it recently. thanks daughter :) one of the most beautiful melodies i've heard on piano. heartbreaking at some parts. it's lovely! i shall search more yiruma piano songs on tube.
just dance by lady gaga. i have no idea who lady gaga is. but well, the beat's useful for psyching yourself into working continuously. quite nice la.
life is just a bowl of cherries by e. g. daily. it's not the most fantastic song, but pretty nice. my sister's keepers songs are all quite nice, actually.
girls just want to have fun by greg laswell. in my playlist mainly for the nice piano tones :D and his voice goes really well with it too.
here i am by leona lewis. i think i like the song's lyrics much better than the song itself- but it makes the song really nice since it's sung out. the lyrics are really sweet. somehow i think they'd look better on paper than in this song, heh.
life is beautiful by vega 4. to remind me life is, indeed, beautiful.
(korean words) by Kara. okay, second ever korean song i listen to. i like etude much better. okay la quite nice though.
Etude by SNSD. i don't know. i love thing song haha. i can hum out the entire song's tune without knowing what the lyrics mean at all. actually, took a look at the lyrics once- the english translation- it was freaking funny haha. apparently the song's trying to teach young girls how to behave. or that's what i think. but when i read it, the thought that came to my head instantly was "fail parenting". okay fine koreans do it another way i guess. hmm, the lyrics're catchy though. might actually learn them during the hols if i have time.
if you believe by jim brickman. really nice piano song. well, after you listen to it for like 50 times or so the effect dies down i guess. still nice though.
viva la vida by coldplay. well, the beat is addictive. i don't think many can dispute them. and, the lyrics are pretty interesting to interpret.
santorini by yanni. noisy and somewhat bombastic, but it's new age after all. heh, quite nice but the nice parts are like so spread out from each other with boring ones joining them. meh, exons and introns. need to splice boring ones out.
feels like home by edwina hayes. the lyrics are something to think about. and her voice is lovely! this song's sweet. from my sister's keeper.
viva espana from princess mononoke soundtrack. catchy! pretty cool.
lazy to write out other half of playlist, sigh. ee calls. the next few days are going to be busy. mm. thanks so much tri, for guiding me through the long long process of AST. heh, i can actually teach others nao.
i wonder if anyone has said, 'both'.
