school tomorrow >< but the days past have been good. juno and arthit!! :) you guys are awesome. friday- went for scouts. didn't bring uniform so i didn't have to go for the 5 minute parade that you have to freaking change into uniform for...then out after it's over. i mean, what's the point? so we went to run instead. okay, it was quite tiring. especially with the sun cooking us :/ the track's quite a terrible place to do 2.4 in; i'm glad we got the new block for PE. it seems a lot shorter there- and there's shelter now and then. and for the really desperate guys who want to shave off NS time, it's way easier to cut...of course, none of us are going to do that right :) gah i must get silver/gold this year. still haven't gone into the NS website to fill up the uniform sizes thingy. lazyyyyyyy :D urgh so much work still.
juno's place is so nice. should become a regular haunt for me when his mum leaves sg again :) it's so near to school too. went to a little cafe near ntuc for dinner with juno and kh. potato salad and lasagna. it was pretty good- except the lasagna was too cheesy for me. yes kh i know everything goes well with cheese but...that was a bit too much of cheese. your way of "getting back at them for giving so little pasta" is pretty funny la. open the cheese shaker lid and pour...and the shopkeeper was so nice! you were supposed to get a free canned drink for every $10 spent there. another guy came in and spent $10 but didn't want the drink and just walked off, so she gave it to us :) must patronise there more often. wow, and she actually collected the empty drink cans so it could be recycled too.
then kh said he wanted to go to the astroturf so we could lie down there and gaze at the stars. when we reached the school compound it turned out he'd just wanted us to walk him there before he went for astronomy club...thanks. but still, juno and i went to the astroturf for stargazing. oh man it was quite cool actually. who cares that the astro is pretty dirty after all that soccer- it was soft, and although all i saw were greyish clouds at first some stars were visible. awesome :) bet it beats astronomy club anytime. as sam seah said once: astronomy- 50% creativity, 50% photoshop. which is pretty true anyway- you can hardly see anything distinct when even using telescopes. i want to go astroturfstargazing again ): it was funnnn. we talked and talked and talked. then we found a soccer ball left there and kicked it around for awhile. juno tried to show me how to curl it- i failed miserably though. it was so dark, you could barely see where you were kicking at all. i'll stick to toebashing tyvm :) met arthit at wahchee and went back with him to juno's place. talked there for awhile, then left before juno's mum came...no work done on friday night :) awesome.
spent the whole of sat morning and afternoon finishing up econs ia 1. yes. 1. but i think i did a really good job of it this time, honestly. i had no idea what the approach was last year- maybe i wasn't paying attention but anyway- but naresh's outline this year was really decent. analysis and evaluation and what it needs to contain. yessss :) now i just need to edit ia 2 and find and article for ia 3. nuts. just don't get macro sometimes >< especially the diagrams. but the policies make sense, and are quite interesting sometimes actually. inflationary spiral- it seemed pretty funny to me when he taught it actually. oh man actually most of his lessons are funny la- how he tricks us and randomly tests some of us. so intense- but it's good, now i'm scared i'll be picked so i try paying attention XD used to drift off at wte's rather drone-ish voice.
went to railmall to do work with brownduck and beigeduck. the queue outside subway was quite something. obviously, we weren't the only ones who'd heard of the buyonegetonefree promo there. camped at coffeebean first then went there when the queue wasn't so long. studying outside home isn't so bad sometimes- especially when you have questions in math. where explaining over the internet is virtually unpossible. kept the last unfinished subway melt cause no one had any more stomach- had it for lunch just now :) it's better than i thought. oh, goodness. and what did beigeduck tell me.
beigeduck: xintian we should totally bring food to school! vwhiteduck: it's okay, we have stewart!!
-_- what the. went to plaza sing again just now to do work with beigeduck and..err, duckling-in-law? LOL yellowduck. fine. finally finished math :) i feel like doing an english written commentary now instead of all the other junk hw -_- ias, what the. english ftw! paddy clarke is really, really good. can't see why so little others think so ._. if any at all. perhaps empathy is needed to understand the story better. gah, should i even do a commentary. i feel so tired- been that way since beginning of the week. close to 10pm and my eyes'll start drooping. can barely do any work past 11. and 12 onwards...better to just go sleep. productivity goes down like a demand curve.
just now was so epic. tzeli called at about 820; "stewart can you come to boarding school now and take care of my hamsters" LOL. apparently his halltutor caught him harbouring pets in his room- now six little hamsters are happily scurrying about in a cage in the guest bathroom. or maybe they're sleeping. they look pretty cute :) sigh. daddy, it's so cute! i want one! nevermind.
year5s coming in tomorrow- looks like we'll be sharing space now :/ okay random but was just thinking about how lame our y5 class name was. other classes were like. can't really remember but: "5.1 KINGS. 5.2 JUDGES. 5.3 LEVITICUS. 5.4 ...numbers. uh, hi. all these cool names then suddenly a name that makes us sound like math freaks -_- nevermind. shall settle for 6.4 cana :) k now we sound like drunkards :D awesome.
and guys if you're thinking of another class WoW why has it to be oulomac (howeveryouspellit)/prague (sounds like plaque. reminds me of braces which are taking ages.) i am not funding any of my ducklings to go, so there >:D who wants to go czech and watch glass break...k nvm :P jk. but there's funner stuff to do! for you girls:this. but it's for girls only- can't be that fun. so i suggest for our class WoW....this. let's go for Scout Urban Escape and Evasion :D :D comeon! scouts can prove their scoutiness. !!!!! come on guyssss. and girlssss.
oh, and renewing of the mind. it's kind of funny how the ones who say it's not going to happen are the ones who end up making it not happen- then they laugh and it repeats.
never mind.
