yesterday was good. fd rehearsal was a success! haha. for the supporting contingents at least. still had to stay back for scouts day rehearsal, though. went with mr azmi in his car to the scouts HQ at bishan to buy some extra uniform parts for those who were missing them. ugh it's annoying how it takes about 50mins-1hr to get to bishan by bus/train from school/clementi while in reality it takes only about 20mins to get there by taxi/car.

arrived at the hq and saw many little cub scouts running around. gosh there were girl scouts too- okay i didn't know they existed :P (no sexist) just like how i thought BB wouldn't have girls. held the shopping basket, got into the queue while azmi walked around grabbing stuff and plonking them in. the place was quite crowded- they must be making quite a profit, haha. even though most of the uniform's subsidized by moe.

talked to azmi quite a bit on the way back. it was really nice- sorted out some things in my head, shared our troubles. apparently studies show six weeks of doing something can make it a habit in our lives- for example if we wake up for a jog every morning for 6 weeks, and stop doing that after those 6 weeks, we'll feel disturbed/weirdedout if we don't continue doing the same thing (going for a jog each morning). talked more about a lot of stuff i wanted to share. and about facing ourselves (inner demons you might want to call it). reminded me of a newspaper article kh showed me not too long ago. anyway, that time was well spent :)

arrived back in school, parked in the space frame. wanted to slip away and get ready to leave school- but guess who was in the space frame. yay, four whole contingents of ventures/scouts marching in rehearsal for scouts day- monday. even better, kegan calling out: "stewart, take my place" when he saw me. LOL. got another sms during the rehearsal. plotted to leave. what's the best way to prevent someone from doing that? make them contingent commander of course. vikram went to slack with thaddeus so guess who had to take over him ._. for the last rehearsal yaseer came breezing in. hehe, let him be commander for fun :P LOL he was super funny. messing up the drill and whatnot. played soccer after that with ken, his ncc cadets, some new ventures, thaddeus (in his formal shirt from awards rehearsal haha) and vikram (whom the new ventures kept calling saat or yaseer). wheeeeee super fun la. was soaked by half an hour. ugh, slipped on the ball. landed on butt + wrist. thankfully, no injuries though. ian (loke) arrived later. wow he was quite good with the ball. finished up the game and everyone went for dinner.

stayed back by the court, waiting for shirt to dry. put handphone&wallet down cause pants were quite wet too. stared at sky for quite some time. it's funny how though it's at night, the sky seems kind of lit up sometimes- lots of brownish clouds hanging around. i like clear skies better :) inky blue/blackness. packed up and went to the bus stop after that.

got on 196 when it came. rummaged in my bags for my wallet. after 5 stops, stopped rummaging and accepted the fact that i'd left my wallet and handphone by the street soccer court...the bus driver was so nice. she was quite old. anw i was asking her if i could take another 196 in the opposite direction back to school from the interchange (since we were only 3 stops away from it). instead she took out $2 and told me to cross to the other side now and take 196 back to school. i was quite uhh...then another lady outside shouted BOY YOU HAVE A PROBLEM? i thought 'wow gg' but next thing i knew she was pretty much offering me money for a taxi ride home LOL. so nice, both of them. eventually she gave me a pocketful of loose change- 10 and 5 cent coins. used them to get back to school where (whew) i found both wallet&handphone where i'd left them.

got back at around 9pm. but it was a good day :) i'll try to be clearer, alright. and not to be above the stand so much.
