yay, plans changed! pt approved extension of wl essay outline to mon. thank goodness now i have time to think through my topic over the weekend- i'm not even sure if this topic is a good one. seems like i'll run out of stuff to talk about fast, with this topic. we'll see. i won't be staying up tonight :)
"happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday...BOON HWEE!" LOL wei xiang's face was super shocked for a sec. hahaha one of those rare times when you see it- this time, in front of the whole class too :P genius/cruel idea by arthit. the cake was good! strawberry jelly on top, tofu-cheese filling below, and finally the biscuit base. rachel is really quite a good baker haha. and for PC mdm tay bought us yu sheng, beehoon (i think it was), hard boiled eggs and chicken drumsticks! she's so nice :) it was to thank us for doing up the cny decorations so nicely. heh, i think quite a number of us would've skipped breakfast for this if we'd known.
i find econs more and more fun each lesson- LOL, naresh. nearing the end of the lesson when he got distracted, "ya ya ya correct" as someone (marcus?) was writing something on the board. when he turned back to the board, "no no no!!" and he started wiping off what was just written. haha, and him saying "I (he meant investment) will go up!" "you will go up?" heehee :) phew, he didn't scold for that.
bioee again :/ there're about 4 different bacterias which i have to isolate, and then identify which was causing the rot. apparently some of them- according to gyy- are quoroum sensing? they gang up together with bacteria of the same species to kill other bacteria. sounded quite unbelievable at first. still does. gah i know so little about bac. oh oh and by this year, gyy'll be Dr Goh! haha, as soon as his thesis is done. awesome la. EE mentor- Dr Goh Yan Yih. cool :) slacked in class with kh, yaseer and ian after bioee, then went for dinner with kh at broadway. tried the new western store- i think it was quite a ripoff...but it came with a nice plate! shaped like a fish. lake ketcheefishee. LOL nvm random thought. oh, but the plate kinda reminded me of tri's paper mouse for some reason. it's so nice la :) then he put it facing my tiger soft toy. wow, strong digression. anw daughter joined us later, didn't eat though (likely a fail attempt at dieting, though...i think someone stuffed herself when she got home. LOL jk :P)
today was quite fun :) and unproductive. piano practice! i need to listen to bach's invention no.4 on youtube now- somehow i learn pieces much easier by listening to it and getting the tune in my head, then learning to play it and finding my own expression :) hopefully my teacher'll allow me to learn pathetique, 2nd movement soon. it's nice :)
