yay, unproductive day. ): oh dear. woke up at 6.45am- i set my alarm for that time last night with intention to study because i slept at 10pm- and snoozed the alarm. woke up 10/15 mins earlier (yeah fine i don't know how long the snooze delay is) and stuffed the phone under some pillow. went to sleep and woke up at 8. remembered i had to go to sg discovery centre and scout the place for some project we have there next time, so quickly showered. had trouble finding my phone after that...that was pretty silly.
got to boonlay bus interchange at around 9.05am- we were supposed to take bus from there to SDC and meet up with our liason at 930. well, yaseer called. apparently he and juno were at the old bus interchange outside- i was in the new aircon-ed one. haha we missed a bus while they were walking over. waited for awhile, read 5 people in heaven in the meantime. it's quite an interesting book so far :) i like the perspectives mitch albom's books give- they're really unique imo. anyway, got into a non-aircon bus ._. with yaseer and juno, got off the bus at 1020.
"aaargh we're almost an hour late!"
"well, why not make it one full hour?"
i more or less helped that happen- i told them both to get off the bus one stop earlier. LOL. once i saw the army camp: "gogogo let's get off". *gets off* *checks bus stop panel* the next stop: "Opp. Singapore Discovery Centre" *curses* ._. so we walked all the way from that bus stop to SDC. met up with our contact there. she was super friendly like before, haha. gave the 3 of us free tickets to roam about in the exhibits. omg and it came with a free 2d AND 3d movie. namely, some boring old ocean movie and AVATAR 3D. show times were at 12.15 and 6.15- gosh, we so wanted to watch it (avatar, not the ocean movie duh) but we weren't free. later tried calling some people who weren't likely to be doing work :P but no one was free, either. so there went 3 avatar 3d movie tickets down the drain ): feels terribly wasted. oh what am i talking about. this is a terrible waste*. oh dear, my english...): nevermind.
the exhibits were quite cool. read the stuffs on the boards, wanted to copy everything down so i could make questions out of them at home. realized none of us had pen/paper. but i had julie! haha. used her webcam to take photos of the exhibits LOL. the resolution's quite good, too :) surprisingly. first time i actually used her webcam, too. there was one exhibit where you had to play a game- navigate around raffles place MRT station to find a bomb within 2 minutes. juno tried it- most of the objects in the screen looked normal but i saw one funny object (up to now i still don't what it is)- whatever it was, it looked weird so i was like "that one that one!" so juno clicked it. it was wrong- wasted like 10 seconds while checking it. eventually he ran out of time...BOOOOOOOOOM yeah well that was what we got rewarded with. good job juno, you've just destroyed raffles place mrt with your loyal accomplice :D
didn't spend too much time in SDC. went back to jurong point for lunch. burger king! haha. had a bbq turkey bacon double while juno and yaseer tried the new 'spicy cheesy tendercrisp' or something like that. their descriptions are always so vague. ugh, that was good- sinfully good. my face and weight are going to die soon enough. juno was telling us about the town where he stayed in the U.S.- Minnesota or something like that, where the burger king there sold EVERYTHING on the menu for $0.99 every wednesday. i suppose that didn't include meals, but...i would've gotten cardiac arrest if i lived there. seriously, 99 cents for any burger? hehe and i think i know people who'd get cardiac arrest earlier than me if they lived there. side effect of studying out, huh :o
juno got a printer too. got a discount with my challenger membership card. the printer was going at a really good deal; $109 for the 3-in-1 printer that can print, scan and photocopy. the ink cartridges amounted to almost $100- pretty funny haha, they almost cost more than the printer itself. i think i might get that one too. when my dad comes back -_- "daddy, can we can a printer on saturday?" "sure" then he leaves for overseas on friday. it freaking happened twice. no, actually, i think i'm going to get it tomorrow with my mum's permission -_- daddy can have his say when he gets back home. with my bio oil :D silly scars on back of hand are stubborn. not for long...
so far today i've:
finished kinematics worksheet.
this is horrible. doing wl outline now- i must must must must must must finish this by tonight/morning): i more or less finished the intro, then started on my first point. halfway through it: "aaaargh" when i realized i was stuck. still am. this is quite a tricky topic i'm doing imo- but i'll enjoy it when i finally get down to writing the actual thing :) need to get the opening paras right, though.
oh, offering help for world lit. have already helped one :D did it during break time. ironically, fiddling with another wl topic and adding to it is what i did when taking a break from world lit. it's quite fun :) hmm, so far break time's been spent on that extra wl, piano, or modern warfare 2. marcus's first ever ac130 was quite fail LOL. didn't know how to switch the plane's weapons. i told him halfway, and he blew me to bits after that. *excuse* but i was in a lousy team, see :D
ah, looking foward very much to cny hols :)
