after an entire day, i am feeling depressed, unhappy and utterly sad at the progress i have made with schoolwork today.
i spent today working on econs ia 4. i'd already done the analysis part some days ago- i just had to finish up evaluation and get it printed. now, we all know how its possible to be unproductive and get little or no work done. well, friends, i have managed the impossible: i've made negative progress. i ended up choosing a new article and now am not even done with analysis. i stop work here for today since i'll be out of the house after this. the result? i'm even further behind where i started. good job stewart.
lol, beethoven's 5th symphony just came on my itunes as i finished typing that last paragraph. heck...
on the other hand, i had an enjoyable time with daughter and david on thursday night at rijc for a piano concert by their piano ensemble. they have a piano ensemble!! why doesn't acsi have one :( i'd go for their FOA every year, seriously. anyway, rijc had an old-school-ish, homely kind of feel. it was quite pleasant :) it was quite cold in the LT, should have brought a jacket along. daughter took alan out to watch it; jonathan and julie were too tired so they rested.
the performances were really really good :) i liked the swan very much. saint saens ftw :D they had a play ongoing in between performances. it was quite morbid, i thought...the acting was good. and the cost for watching the performance was only $3!! super well spent. some children came up to play, too- i think the piano ensemble's doing something similar to what us scouts are doing at HPPS- instead, they're teaching children how to play the piano. well, those children had guts...haha although it did look like some of them had that 'forced' look on their faces when they came up on stage.
i believe someone has already (very) enthusiastically blogged about a young fellow who was wearing a slightly too-baggy/loose pair of trousers and was caught up in practising his broad jump. now that i mention it, it reminds me of times long ago when my brothers or i had such loose pants that it'd just drop down after we jumped up and down a few times. okay, wrong imagery. nevermind.
time to reorder my schedule. yes, i'm proud that i gave up 3 offers to watch iron man 2 this weekend to stone at my econs ia for an entire day :( only one reaction you can give yourself, stewart.
