my grandparents love each other so darn much i hope they die together so neither of them'll have to mourn/suffer without the other. i suppose that's what they'd want.

they missed me during my family's trip to aussie, and gave my dad a little card in an envelope to pass on to me. in that card was also a nifty sum of cash, the number of hours we have to meet for CAS. in total. thank you grandma and grandma :D miss you too! i must email them soon. but letters are somehow- dearer to me in a way. maybe it's because they're something physical and not just a virtual fragment of cyberspace. i really treasure the cards my friends have given me ♥

a little anecdote involving my grandpa and granduncle Fred. the situation was quite comedic- we'd just eaten lunch at a restaurant and both of them were at the cashier arguing over who should pay the bill. haha, it was quite funny; my grandpa managed to pay the bill but my granduncle was trying to stuff some notes into my grandpa's shirt pocket. eventually that didn't work out, but he had the cunning to slip them to my brother when my grandpa wasn't looking, and told him: "pass this to grandpa when you get home".
