whew- today wasn't so bad.

i was all set to do prose- but after reading the past year sample essays i felt inspired- and when we got the paper i eventually did poem on impulse. that was kind of risky, i thought- i'd only done poem once this year. strong lack of practise! but poem is usually way more fun than prose :D i think my ideas were decent- but toward the end they got a little abstract. nevermind, i enjoyed writing it hehe.

econs was quite a relief. question 3!! but i messed up the ToT definition at the beginning- and i had to restart on a fresh page as a result. and during the exam i realized that one of my foolscap sheets had an index number already there -_- wasted more time asking for another one.

oh, and i wrote 002329-XXX on my english paper instead of 6XXX. hopefully that doesn't bother the reader too much...

felt sleepy/lazy after the econs exam. got on a bus home. halfway home, close to 3, my stomach cried out and ow, i realized i hadn't had lunch. the half-melted mint slices didn't count! got home, had lunch and spent some time on wikipedia...

then at 4pm i set the aircon timer to last one more hour before switching off (mummy says we have to conserve energy!!). then i set 3 alarms for 6pm- phone, clock and computer. then i put the fan and aircon remote controls farrr away from my bed, on the table. so when i woke up i'd be hot and uncomfortable. and the fan/aircon remotes would be far away so i'd have to get up and walk to them- and hopefully by then i'd be quite awake with the 3 alarms going off simultaneously.

things didn't work out too well, though. took at least 10 minutes to fall asleep. then i woke up by myself at 5.15pm or so. reason? air con off. too hot to sleep. -_- talk about pampered, heh. so much for energy conservation too. meh nevermind i got a nice little nap in the end. didn't really fall asleep after that, so i started getting down to studying equilibrium. then at 6pm...sigh, i really should have remembered to turn off the alarms when i woke up. urgh what a cacophony.

at dinner i was eating what looked like chicken patties. to maid: 'this is good! is it chicken and egg?' 'uh no sir. tofu...and shrimp'. hey this is one of her edibl- err, better dishes :)

meh i still want to go shopping. maybe on friday. but on friday we may want to go to some jewpanese restaurant, muhahaha. then at night i'll watch lotr: return of the king. and maybe just like heaven, and cry. it's so nice :)

novelette 1 in C major - poulenc ben is playing this in our piano teacher's concert. i guess it won't be during the exams after all- she hasn't given us at date at all -.- worse comes to worst, it'll be during ioc, hm. i think it's a nice piece. the melody at the beginning and end- is that called a theme?- sounds new age-ish. i like it.

don't forget to cheer for england!
