been playing quite a bit of sc2 during the past days. teamed up with leeyang to 2v2 even more, but kept losing as terran. then one time as we were searching for players i was fooling around, clicking Zerg for my race and was going to change it back to terran and suddenly...the game started. well, i panicked and so on but slowly went with the flow...and did much better than i did as terran -.- in fact we broke our losing streak and went on a winning streak- at least 4 wins haha. he'd m/m/m and i'd rush mutas and wreck havoc on their mineral line, and usually we'd take the game just by that. there was one particular game which dragged longer- the enemy terran got thors, so i pumped out roaches, burrowed them under and...pop, surprise!
and so the piano concert is over. my saddest apologia (hehe) (no i'm serious :/) to those i invited but whom i told at the last minute that there wasn't any more space- koonhan, janice and rachel. it was so unfair, too! apparently priority went to 'parents and siblings'. funny, i saw a maid at the concert...sigh, anyway. my dad was supposed to come, but didn't make it. very bad situation: my phone wasn't working properly and wasn't receving smses. and the YMS building has multiple concert venues- long story short, he went to the wrong room and watched the wrong concert. :( well he tried to call me a few times but i was in the darn concert room, how could i answer!! and i was smsing him over and over again trying to get him to sms me...he'd been replying to every single one of them. MEH. so no one came, rawr. but the concert was fun!! the two ben ngs were there, we talked quite a bit :) a lot of rubbish actually hehe. benedict and i make mistakes- i stalled for awhile during the second part of my piece but my stone face > all so i looked pro all the way. haha i think my teacher was quite happy, she was beaming at me when i was walking back even though i'd messed up a bit.
i tried calling my dad after the concert- i think he was in the car on the way home after watching the wrong concert, and he probably didn't pick up...oh well i didn't mean to annoy him that badly :/ meh. my music teacher's husband (who is also a music teacher...) took some of us to kap macs for supper :D hehe, that was quite a treat. he talked a lot about ns to me and the...stuff they do there :P but still, i'm going PES E where life will probably be easier.
prelude op 25 no 15 aka raindrop prelude- chopin. quite melancholic imo, but still beautiful. it somehow reminded me of paddy clarke.
