haha yes ian i did see his tuition advertisement. yay, whoever wants good math tuition should go there. the guy does know his stuff, actually- the eccentricities are a small price to pay for learning how stuff in math actually works.

i blame the bad foundation we had in sec school for our current math jeopardies- okay, maybe some of us are to blame, i still don't understand how i bluffed my way past sec 4 amath. i think they tested the concepts covered very superficially- like say box and whisker diagram, it's just something you can't make difficult right!

cheryl- no no no omg study for p3! i think i was the only retard doing stats on saturday and sunday -.- p1 and 2 were pretty trashy for me and probably for you too, so work on p3, janice said many people bank on that...i think it's a good idea, the prelim p3 was pretty manageable...pity i didn't prepare for that!

eng paper 1 tomorrow. sigh, the only trap i hope i don't fall into is being unable to decide whether to do prose or poem. hopefully i choose quickly. haha speaking of p1, our dear p2 english teacher set the year 5 eoy paper 1 prose passage. 95% of year 5s ended up doing poem LOL. he let me look at the prose passage- after glossing over it two times i managed to come up with the basic stuff that'd net you a pass, but when i looked at the markscheme it was like omgggg wth, not even hl people'd get that. but freak, the markscheme really elucidated the nuances and beauties in that passage, i think it's a lovely passage for appreciation haha. it's from White Noise by some writer. and it wasn't a short passage- about 70 lines. IB p1 prose passages can be as short as 35 lines- but tend to be very dense with literary gems for picking, apparently. i don't know, darn it i hope i can decide quickly tomorrow and not stall.

went to the ENT just now and ended up having lunch at ion orchard food mall. ughh their yam paste is as watery as anything, and totally not the right colour too. i like purple yam paste! and coconut milk. just like grandpa. vasudeva tried offering coconut milk to siddhartha after the son left, but he was sleeping. idiot. window shopped around ion orchard and tangs for awhile, stopped by a shop in ion orchard. a good day! this week will be pretty easy to get by luh. seriously, IB isn't that hard right! okay nevermind everyone is gonna laugh at my score next year, meh. or will they?

i have been persuaded to do english lit in uni- no, med still goes for me! meh the girl i see most often is the one on the front of the NUS med brochure they gave out during the med talk before prelims. she's holding up an x-ray printout. mustgetinmustgetinmustgetinordieeeeeeee
