That 'I can take on the world' feeling after you down a coffee just before night driving class. Mm-mm.
The inability to keep your eyes shut for more than a few seconds on the train ride back cause the caffeine's still shooting through your veins, when you usually drift off within a minute or so. Hmm.
When you're back at home lying on your bed, your body dead tired and ready to switch off, but your mind's still going hard at it thanks to that little cuppa you had...sigh.
I happened to drop by Khoo Teck Puat Hospital recently. It was a stunning experience- usually when you enter a hospital you catch a whiff of some kind of sickly, unnatural smell but KTPH was so open; barely any air-con, but so much breeze and open air. The greenery and open air concept made it feel like some sort of resort. It reminded me a bit of our school, a hotel and the zoo. You need to go see for yourself to understand.
In other (old) news: a page someone referred me to, long ago. An amusing read, though serious.
No, the person did not try for an internship at that clinic. Not after reading the page...
